These first three pictures were supposed to show up at the bottom. Just pretend! We're in Oregon for the long weekend for one of Damon's mission friend's wedding. We got here yesterday (Thursday) afternoon. We headed to downtown Portland and walked around a bit. We saw Powell's books, the biggest bookstore in the US. It is one square city block. We saw the art museum, driftwood horse sculptures, sat in the park, and drove around a bit looking at the sites and architecture. Today (Friday) we took care of a few errands this morning and then headed down to McMinnville. When we were back in Portland this evening, and after giving Joe some time to stretch his legs, we finally found ourselves some dinner. It took a little while, but we ended up at Ohana Hawaiian Cafe. We had only been sitting down for about three minutes when Joe let loose! We can probably count the number of times Joe has spit up on one hand. What he let loose was not spit up. It was full on smelly voluminous throw up! He had eaten avocado earlier and it went everywhere! We got our food to go, but he was/is fine!

One of the best shots of the day. Outside the Evergreen Air Museum and next to the Mig-29.

This building has a slide! It is an old school house-turned-antique store. The other side has a series of staircases, and this side has a fire slide!
Our first stop in McMinnville was the sandwich shop. We found this place last time we were in Oregon. It's called Sandwich Express. It has a model train that runs constantly around a shelf at the top of the interior walls. They were painting the interior mural the last time. Joe loved watching the train go around and around! Awesome sandwiches!

Damon and Joe and their amazing balancing act!
