Joe's future careers

At the ripe old age of 2 1/2, it looks like Joseph has his future career picked out. He mayjust be a baseball playing stuntman diver. We came to this conclusion based on:

-Joseph likes to take the vacuum extender off of the vacuum. He also likes to sometimes store his baseball on top of where it goes. The other day he was playing 't-ball' by using the extender to knock it off! When he would miss a few times in a row, he'd just pick it up, drop it, and then celebrate like he'd hit it. Silly boy.

-His favorite part of the Aquarium of the Pacific, where we have a membership, is the divers in the tanks. Sometimes they are just cleaning, and sometimes doing a demonstration. Regardless, he loves to wave to them and always says they are his favorite part. Second favorite? The sharks. Damon asked him if he wanted to be a diver when he grew up. "Yyyyyyup."

-Joe has long liked to "fall" off the couch or down the stairs to our apartment. He does it in super slow motion, " OOOOHHHHHH NNNNNOOOOOOO!!!!" He loves it. The other day we were going downstairs to the car and I thought he was doing his usual fake falling. He was actually really falling and tumbling down the stairs behind me! He landed with a thud flat on the front side and just laid there. "ooooooooowwwwwwwww." "You OK?" "Yeaaaaaaaaaaaa. Owie kneeeeeeeeeeeeees!"

Hence our baseball playing, stuntman diver!
