On certain days of the week I (Damon) get to take the bus into school. To make my walk go a little more quickly, I bought a skateboard. Joseph quickly fell in love with the skateboard and claimed it as his own. He knows that he needs to be wearing his helmet, shoes, and socks when he rides the skateboard as well.
Here he is ready to hit the streets.
This is how he first started riding the skateboard. He would sit down, pull up his feet and hang on while coasting down the sidewalk to me.
He later saw me riding the skateboard in the street, so he had to try standing up as well.
Do you think he is enjoying himself? He loves riding down the slight incline in our courtyard.
Here he is riding past me. I was there just in case he started to fall, which he didn't.
Here we are after a nice little skate session.
I think his face says it all. Maybe I'll have to get him his own skateboard for Christmas.
