A Year's Difference

These first two pictures are from Easter 2010, one year ago. Jonathan was only a few weeks old, Joseph was about 21 months old.

One year later....

Joseph is nearly three years old, Jonathan was a year old last month. We dyed eggs together for the first time. We made quite a mess using cake dyes, hot water, and white vinegar. The dyes leak and the containers left a mess all over the table, and every time it was touched, it spread. Our hands were quite a sight and took a bit of scrubbing to get it all off.

Joseph went on his first egg hunt down in our patio.

Easter Sunday this year showed us that Jonathan is big enough to wear the same shirt Joe wore last year.

They were both looking at something...

Our family picture definitely looks a bit different this year.

Brittany was on her way to work, in uniform, but since she misses so many holidays and pictures because of work, it was decided she had to be in at least one.

I told Elaina and Joe to hold Jonathan's hands so that he couldn't try to stand up and walk off the step (more like fall off.) That was fine for the first two pictures, until he decided he really didn't want to hold hands anymore, and they wouldn't let go!

Showing off their finds at Grandma's house.

Very happy about getting to eat an egg.

"Sandy and Papa" Joe doesn't go for conventional titles like Grandma, Grandpa, aunt, uncle, etc.

Damon helping out with a stubborn egg shell. Jonathan never wants to be left out of the action.

The boys are so stinkin' cute! I loved playing baseball with Joseph and Jonathan was so funny! I'll send pictures of our adventures.
