Joseph had his 6 month check up today and he is off the charts. He is 29 1/4 inches tall, 21 1/2 pounds, and he measured in the 97th and higher percentiles. The sad part about the visit to the doctor's office is always getting the shots. Luckily for Joseph, the standard 4 shots have been combined into just 2 shots. Now instead of a shot in both arms and both legs, he just had shots in his legs. At least he won't have to have any more shots for 3 more months.
Yesterday we took Joseph to the Aquarium of the Pacific here in Long Beach, and he loved it. He had a great time watching all of the fish, the seals, and the sharks swimming around in their tanks.

Outside of the aquarium.

Joseph watching intently as the fish swim by.

Tiffany's favorite picture of Joseph at the aquarium.

Sitting next to the petting pool watching the stingrays swim by.

One of the many stingrays gliding through the water.

In the tunnel next to the seal and sea lion pool.

One of the sea lions swimming by.

Joseph seems to be amazed by the size of the sea lions.

Joseph next to a large lion fish.

A huge puffer fish smiling for the camera.

The same puffer fish from below. This fish was close to 2 feet long. I wonder how big it would be if it were all puffed up?

These snow flakes were hung throughout the aquarium. They are made with the plastic 6 pack soda holders.

Joseph tired, drooly, and ready to go home after a fun day at the aquarium.
