We bought a new car, at least, new to us! We bought a 2006 Toyota Highlander from the Saturn dealership. It seats 7, or 5 with the back seat folded down. It is surprisingly roomy inside, with Damon being able to sit in the back seat comfortably even with the front seat all the way back. It is actually shorter than the truck though.
As mentioned in a post below, we cleaned up my Saturn Ion, and were fortunate to sell it quickly! We could have traded it in when we bought the Highlander, but weren't satisfied with the amount offered. I knew we could get better than that. We were preparing to sell it ourselves, when someone suggested we try CarMax first. We did, and got exactly what we wanted for it, $5000. We didn't have to deal with paying for an ad, or the smog check, oil change, and DMV registration it all needed in the next few weeks. It was kinda busy when we went, so it took a little longer than expected, but we'd recommend them! Bye Saturn, you were a good little car! :)
