On Monday, the first day of my summer vacation, we went to the Santa Ana Zoo. It's pretty small, but close and inexpensive. $7.00 for adults, and half price if you go after 2:00pm. 
The have a nice barnyard area. They fed the goats and sheep.
We saw lots of monkeys, including this mostly hairless one.
This is a golden tamarin, kinda like a small monkey. Joe seemed to have a good time seeing the animals. We'll have to go back sometime.
