My main memories of the zoo as a kid is that all zoos smell and are always hot. There was a bit of both today at the LA Zoo, but overall it was a good trip. Just the entry way and walk up to the exhibits is larger than the Santa Ana Zoo! Our first stop was by the alligator exhibit.
There are some mountain goats at the top of the rocks.
Joe rode in the stroller and was carried, but sometimes a boy just has to do it by himself!
The giraffes were one of my favorites, along with the gorillas and rhino.
Tongues are very useful for those spots you just can't reach!
Just before he had to relieve some "lower bowel pressure." Even Joe covered his nose after that!
The boy gets heavy!
The gorilla smell again? No, just a face he does. :)
